Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia

PURPOSE:  The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia offer Australia’s most prestigious accounting qualification. The qualification is more difficult and expensive than their primary competition, so maintaining their educational credibility is essential.

COMMUNITY:  Students at high school and university considering a career in business or accounting.

BRIEF:  Create vodcasts (video-podcasts) that can be used as educational aides by teachers and university lecturers to explain difficult theories and accounting concepts to their students.

STORY: We use real Chartered Accountants explaining how the theories of economics learned in the classroom actually relate to ‘the real world’.

DELIVERY:  Institute website, USB sticks sent to lecturers and given to students at Careers Fairs.

RESULTS:  The series has been embraced by educators and students alike. After an initial commission of 6 films we have gone on to create more than 30 vodcasts. We’ve also been commissioned to create promotional films for other parts of the Institute community. The film below was designed to introduce a new community initiative to new, potential and existing Chartered Accountants.
